Mayer Magnet School is more than just a school: It is a Community. Located in the heart of Lincoln Park, Mayer is a Chicago Public School that serves students age 4 through grade 8 with a unique offering of Montessori, International Baccalaureate (”IB”) and Fine Arts programming.
Our parent organization, Friends of Mayer (FOM), annually funds approximately 15% of Mayer's operating budget. The funds we raise keep our Montessori and IB programs whole by supporting teaching assistants, technology, classroom supplies and more, all of which enrich our children’s academic experience.
This year, our Annual Gala & Auction theme is “Grow, Blossom, Flourish”, and will take place on March 1, 2024. The event serves as one of our largest fundraisers, and your support will help make this event even better.
How you can help:
Provide an in-kind donation for our silent or live auction - gift cards, tickets to events, merchandise, experiences, services. Items will be viewed in person, online and via mobile app. Fill out this form to make an in-kind donation. You can also print the form and mail it in

Any contribution will provide your business with great exposure within our Mayer community of over 1000+ parents. In addition to the benefits outlined below, all donations to the silent auction will be featured on our auction web site with company logos and detailed descriptions. The auction website provides exposure to participating businesses to the 400+ families participating each year.
